The Best Pumpkin Chia Pudding

The Best Pumpkin Chia Pudding

Pumpkin Chia Pudding For those of you that follow me on Instagram - you know that I've been cookin' up a storm in my kitchen with pumpkin! That's right - as soon as September rolled in and the leaves started to turn, I decided to whip out this delicious canned ingredient to add to my Fall cooking repertoire. I was in a dessert-y mood - however, I wanted a healthy alternative. I had initially thought maybe pumpkin muffins or an oatmeal bake, but I had a hankering for something a bit more dessert-eque. Voila! I whipped up a batch of pumpkin chia pudding. Paired with a 5% vanilla greek yogurt and it's SERIOUSLY like eating pumpkin pie filling. A perfect high fibre dessert as you watch...

Low FODMAP Granola Bars

Low Fodmap Granola Bars

I have been getting a ton of questions about low FODMAP granola bars in my private practice. I often don’t blog about IBS, yet it makes up the majority of my private practice - and is one of my favourite nutrition topics. So I’m going to get better at blogging about IBS and the low FODMAP diet once a month. You heard it here, now you can hold me accountable. “Hey, Andrea, where’s the IBS post you PROMISED?!” should be enough to get my butt in gear to blog. In all seriousness, I have a ton of resources and great suggestions made up for my clients, however I never seem to get around to sharing with EVERYONE. So my year 2 blogging goal is to get on...

Summer Green Pea Salad

Summer Green Pea Salad

Sometimes peas seem a bit well, boring. Turns out, if you steam them for 99.9% of your life, you may have that impression. But if you get a little creative, peas can be SO delicious and fun! Not to mention, packed with protein, fibre, and vitamin C! This salad goes great alongside most bbq items - especially fish, chicken, and burgers. It's great for cooking bulk and bringing to a potluck too! Your friends will be so impressed that you were super creative with peas. I'm sure of it. Summer Green Pea Salad ...
