Dialectical Behavioural Therapy

DBT is a comprehensive skills-based approach that traditionally involves a combination of group skills training, individual therapy, coaching, and case management strategies. In this context, only individual therapy would be used.

DBT teaches you to manage difficult emotions and experiences using four types of skills – mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and emotion regulation.
