About Jen Rawson
Hi there! I'm Jen Rawson (she/her), and I'm both a Registered Dietitian and Registered Provisional Psychologist.
My combined qualifications and extensive experience working as a dietitian for over 10 years provide me a unique perspective on the intricate relationship between mental health and nutrition, promoting a holistic approach to overall wellness. Through working with numerous clients, I've come to understand that our well-being is about much more than just the food we eat.
I am deeply committed to a non-diet approach that embraces and welcomes people of all body types and identities. I firmly believe that health is not defined by a specific body size and strive to help clients redefine what health means to them.
My areas of expertise include:
- disordered eating
- body image concerns
- digestive disorders
- navigating life transitions with a particular interest in the complex hormonal, health, and mental challenges of perimenopause and menopause.
It's important to note that while I am skilled in both psychology and nutrition, I only provide dietitian services at Ignite Nutrition.
I am excited about the opportunity to join you on your journey towards food and body freedom, empowering you to redefine health on your own terms and thrive in your overall well-being. Let's work together to create positive and lasting changes in your life!
